I was born and raised in Texas, growing up near Jersey Village. After graduating from Jersey Village High School in 1989, I earned my BBA in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1994. Angie and I married in 1995 and have two children and two rescued dogs. We have been residents of Katy since 2002.
After spending a decade of managing business for others and designing software, in 2005 I launched my current practice named Blue Maple Financial.
Both of our children are currently studying at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, and Angie and I are adjusting to life as empty nesters.
I consider myself a bit of a foodie and appreciate the variety of local restaurants where my family and I can experience new and different cuisines. When possible, I enjoy combining two of my passions, fast cars and driving quiet Texas country roads. I have had a fascination with sports cars since childhood, and Texas has plenty of roads in need of exploring.
