I was born and raised in Texas, growing up near Jersey Village. After graduating from Jersey Village High School in 1989, I earned my BBA in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1994. Angie and I married in 1995 and have two children and two rescued dogs. We have been residents of Katy since 2002.
After spending a decade of managing business for others and designing software, in 2005 I launched my current practice named Blue Maple Financial.
Our daughter is currently studying at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, and our son attends Tompkins High School here in Katy. When not working I spend much of my free time at Tompkins High School events, primarily football games and band performances.
I consider myself a bit of a foodie and appreciate the variety of local restaurants where my family and I can experience new and different cuisines. When possible, I enjoy combining two of my passions, fast cars and driving quiet Texas country roads. I have had a fascination with sports cars since childhood, and Texas has plenty of roads in need of exploring.
